What information might we collect?

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • your name, employer, professional role and business contact details;

  • information you provide in an enquiry, booking, meeting or correspondence;

  • records connected with a proposal, contract or consultancy engagement;

  • committee papers, meeting notes, due-diligence material and other documents supplied for agreed work, which may contain information about professional contacts;

  • billing, invoice and payment-status information; and

  • website information such as IP address, device, browser, pages visited and cookie choices.

Please do not send unnecessary personal, sensitive, retail-client or confidential information through a general Website form.

Why do we use it?

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and arrange conversations;

  • prepare, administer and deliver consultancy engagements;

  • review supplied material and provide agreed committee, governance, due-diligence or communications support;

  • manage professional relationships, contracts, invoices and business records;

  • operate, protect and improve our Website and services;

  • send relevant professional updates where permitted; and

  • comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations and protect legal rights.

We use information where necessary for a contract, our legitimate business interests, a legal obligation or, where required, with your consent.

Who might receive it?

We do not sell personal information. We may use trusted providers for website hosting, email, booking, video meetings, cloud storage, accounting, IT and professional advice. This includes Wix as our Website provider. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism. Further details are in the full Privacy Notice.

How long do we keep it?

Retention depends on the purpose. Enquiry records are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Client, contractual, invoicing and material engagement records are normally kept for six years after the engagement or relevant financial period, unless a longer period is reasonably required. Marketing information is kept until you opt out or it is no longer reasonably useful.

You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Subject to applicable law, you may also ask us to:

  • give you access to your personal information;

  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • delete or restrict information in certain circumstances;

  • consider an objection to our use of information; or

  • provide certain information in a portable format.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Some rights are not absolute, and we may need to keep information for legal, contractual or record-keeping reasons.
